Job Title: Civil Engineer Safety Supervisor Location: Madurai Company: Pryme Promoters Pvt Ltd Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a highly dedicated and experienced Civil Engineer Safety Supervisor to oversee and implement safety protocols across our construction and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will ensure full compliance with safety standards, conduct risk assessments, train staff, and lead a culture of safety on-site. Key Responsibilities: Develop & Implement Safety Plans: Design and enforce site-specific safety policies, procedures, and training programs. Conduct Risk Assessments: Identify hazards and evaluate risks associated with all site activities. Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Maintain adherence to all local, state, and national safety regulations and legal requirements. Safety Audits & Inspections: Perform routine site inspections and audits to identify and rectify unsafe conditions. Training & Education: Lead training sessions for construction teams on safety practices and equipment usage. Emergency Response: Develop and implement effective emergency procedures and response strategies. Incident Investigation: Investigate workplace incidents, determine root causes, and implement preventive measures. Promote a Safety-First Culture: Encourage a proactive approach to safety across all levels of construction staff. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field. Experience: Minimum 1 years in a safety-related role within the construction industry. Certifications (Preferred): Certified Safety Professional (CSP) Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) OSHA Certifications or equivalent Skills: In-depth knowledge of safety laws, standards, and risk mitigation practices Strong leadership and communication skills Proficient in safety audits, investigations, and compliance documentation Working Conditions: Construction site-based role with regular field visits Must be available for emergency response when required Compensation: Salary will be based on experience.
